There Has Been a Murder.

Last Saturday I went to a Super Hero
Murder Mystery Party.
My character was Pogo Girl.

Pogo Girl has a dad who is a scientist that created a
pogo stick that would grant the user super human
powers as they were on it. When Pogo Girl got off she still had
super human powers which would intensify
everyday. She decided that she would use
her super human powers, and
her trusty pogo stick for the good of mankind.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on
my costume, so I decided to buy some crazy leggings,
and make a mask.

I thought my mask turned out pretty good, and
I had fun making it. I lacked a pogo stick,
but I decided it was a good thing because
I didn't want to lug a pogo stick around all night.

During one of the rounds we had to get
into groups and  make a rap.
It was hard, but some of the
raps were really funny.
If I can get a hold of my video I will post
it later.

Ferdette about it

This week BYU played against SDSU.
It was a really big game for BYU.
I had a friend come over to watch the game,
as well as my uncle had a friend over.
His friend Ed brought over a life
size poster of BYU's star player
Jimmer Ferdette.

We of course had to take pictures with him.

 My friend Melinda and I

 Now we're just being silly

We had fun taking pictures, and the game was amazing- or
so I heard. I was doing my accounting homework the
whole time. Well I think I watched about 2 minutes
all together.

Beside Still Waters

I have a journal that has this picture on it:

When I first looked at the picture, I just thought
it was pretty. Then I realized the
real meaning behind the picture.

Psalms 23: 1-4
1. The Lord is my Shepherd; I Shall not want.
2. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: He
leadeth me beside still waters.
3. He resoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the
paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of
shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art
with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

When I look at the picture, I see a loving
shepherd who is watching over his sheep.
I am the sheep, and the shepherd is
my savior, Jesus Christ.
I know that He loves me,
and watches over and protects me.
I will follow him, because He knows
the way safely back home.

The Lord is MY shepherd.

New Years 2011

I can't believe it is 2011 already.
It is just amazing how fast time goes.

For this New Year, I did what I have always done
since I was in high school- Go to the New Year
dance. I don't particularly like dances, but
I like the social aspect of them. I suppose
that is why I go, even though I never
really have that much fun.
This year was... okay. I didn't
really get a lot of notice to the
countdown.
ANYWHO.... Here are some pictures.

Christmas 2010

This Christmas was amazing as always.

In my family we have a few Christmas traditions.
On Christmas Eve my extended family, on my moms side,
gets together for 3 main events.
Round 1 we start with dinner.
Round 2 we have a small family devotional
at the church.
Round 3 is my personal favorite -
gag gifts.

Christmas morning I opened most of my gifts from Santa
and my parents. It was really different being the
only child Christmas morning.
We then went to my Aunts house
to have breakfast with the family- another tradition.
After breakfast, my family went back to
the parents house to open more gifts.

Christmas night we went back to my aunts house
to have dessert and to play games.
One of my parents gifts to the family was
the game Kinect.
We took it to my Aunts house to
play with the rest of the family.
We had a lot of fun playing it.

Princess

This is Princess

She is my aunt and uncle's cat.
I love Princess, and I also love
to tease and pester her.
For some reason she likes it.
Last night my aunt tied a ribbon on her tail.
Watch to see what happened.

Please excuse my high pitched, annoying laugh
