BL #19

Eat at 12 new restaurants.
I know I have eaten at more then 12, but
some I didn't care to document. I went some
specifically for the bucket list, while others
I went and then decided to add them to
my bucket list. Here they are:

1) Bruges Waffles and Frites - SLC, Utah
This place was really unique. They pretty much only sold Waffles and fries. They were really good too. You could pick a topping for your waffle, or just have it plane. They fries were really good, and you could pick different kinds of dipping sauce for them. Definitely will go back sometime.

2) Salt City Burger Co - SLC, Utah.
This place was obviously hamburgers. It was more of a fancy hamburger place. Pretty yummy.

3) Huggo's (Hug-os) - Kona, Hawaii
This was one of our favorite restaurants in Hawaii. The plates were huge and delicious. Hillarie and I shared both times we went there - Nachos and quesadillas (It wasn't a mexican restaurant).

4) Humpy's - Kona, Hawaii
This was another one of our favorite restaurants in Hawaii. YUM! Craving it now.

5) Station 22 Cafe - Provo, UT
Natalie and I went here for dinner one night. It was a delicious sandwich shop in downtown provo. I am definitely going back there!

6) Thia House - Draper, Utah
Natalie, Amy, Sarah and I went to Dinner here one night. I didn't get too adventurous and stuck with orange chicken. It was pretty good, but it wasn't absolutely amazing.

7) Rumbi Island Grill - West Jordan, Utah
This was a Hawaiian restaurant Sarah, Amy and I went to. I got the hawaiian teriyaki rice bowl. It was pretty good. I wouldn't mind going there again.

8) Guru's - Provo, Utah
I have been wanting to try Guru's for a while now. I have drove past it a couple of times on center street thinking it looked like an interesting place to try. I suggested to my friend Katie, and my cousin Kayla, that we go try it. We quickly found out that it was a happening place to be on a friday night. There was live music, and hardly any place to sit. The food was pretty good too. Come to find out, every Friday night there is live music, and every Saturday night is karaoke. I think I just found my new hang out spot!

9) Flour Girls & Dough Boy's - American Fork, Ut
I haven't hung out with these girls in a while, so we finally got to together for dinner and a movie. Of course I suggested going somewhere I haven't been, and Natalie took us to this fun little Cafe. We got there just a few minutes before closing so we kind of got rushed out.

10) Purple Turtle - Pleasant Grove, UT
After eating at Flour Girls & Dough Boy's, we went to the Purple Turtle to get a shake. I have been wanting to get a shake from here for quite sometime, and I am glad it finally happened. I went with a raspberry shake and it was pretty good. I was eyeing Amy's oreo shake though, and took some bites when she wasn't looking :) Don't worry, I confessed.

11)  Dickey's Barbeque Pit - Saint George, UT
Bree and I went here for dinner when I visited her for spring break. I wasn't a huge fan of this place, but Bree liked it. I think I might be a snob with it comes to barbeque. I want the good stuff, not the fast food kind.

12) Black Sheep Cafe- Provo, Utah.
I love hanging out with these girls! We met up for lunch at this cafe for some Navajo taco's and sweet potato fries. It was delicious! I love Taco box, don't get me wrong, but these Navajo taco's didn't taste like fast food, which made them even better! I can't wait to go back!

I had so much fun trying new places to eat!
I am going to continue to try new places, and if
I find anything amazing, I will be sure to post it.

Summer Is Going To Be Good

Classes are finally out, and all there is left to do is
take finals! Two of my classes had chapter tests, and
I finished my accounting final this weekend. Now I only have
my economics, which is online, and my Info systems final,
which is on Wednesday. I am so close to being done!!!
If only I didn't have to turn around a week later and have
to take summer school. I think it might kill me. I have
class on Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:15. I hope
he gives us a couple of breaks, because I might die sitting
there for that long. It's only for two months though.
 I CAN DO IT!

I also got a job! I am really excited about it. I will be working
in the shipping department at Lifestyle Crafts
They have some really cool paper, tools, and accessories.
I have a really good feeling about this place, and I think
I will like working there. It sounds like everyone is very nice
and fun, and I am hoping I will fit in and make friends. :)

Even more exciting news is that Ally only has a month left!
Well, close to a month. I am so excited for her to come home!
It feels like she has been gone a long time, but not quite a year
and a half. Kimi is so close to being done too! She only has three
more months! Lets just say I will be taking a lot of trips to Ogden
this summer.

My new niece will be here any day now. Brittany is due May 12,
but I think she will show up a little early. I am sad I probably
wont get to go home right when she is born. Thank goodness
for technology though!

I think it is going to be a great summer! My best friends are
coming home, I'll get a new niece, and I am going to have
some fun!

Bake a homemade cake all by myself

 March 30th was Kayla's birthday!
I decided I would giver her a little birthday party
and make her a cake. She loves funfetti cake, so
I decided to make her a homemade one.

Mixing

 Folding in the sprinkles

Waiting for it to bake

 Tada!

The birthday girl and her cake

A lot of people really enjoyed it!
I liked it too, but the frosting was a
little too rich for me. The recipe can
be found on the Evil Chef Mom blog.
