It's done!

Hooray! This semester is over!! It has been such
a relief. I know that I passed two of my classes,
but I am waiting to see if I passed my other two.

Right after my last final
I celebrated my last final with Pita Pit. Yum!

On the 17th we had the Duncan family Christmas party.
It was so nice to see most of my family members
and spend the day eating and relaxing with them.

Gramps and his airplane videos he got.

 Ally and I

One of my favorite pictures of me, Kevin, and Ally

During the party, my uncle Dee had family video's
running. It was so fun to see all my aunt and uncle's
when they were little-- especially my dad.
He's the little baby just learning to walk.
So cute!!!

BL #5

Blog for two weeks strait.

Well I messed up once, but I made up
for it for posting twice. Sorry if some
of the posts were really boring.

Tomorrow it is back to school for
two more weeks, and then finals
week. I'm afraid my mind wont be
able to go back to school mode
after this break and having school
over soon. I am so excited for these
classes to be over.

Here is to two more weeks!

Bow Pillow

There are a couple projects that I have
been wanting to to since the beginning
of the semester. One was to make a
pillow for my room in Provo. I figured
the only time I would have to do it would
be over the break. So I did.

I think it turned out pretty well. I
probably would have made the bow
a solid color, because it is a little
hard to see. If you want to make one
too go here. It was really easy!

Christmas has begun

Can I just say I love not going to school!
I can't wait until I am graduated. However,
that wont happen for a while. :(

Christmas is now in full swing. Thanksgiving
is over, and today was black friday. I have
never been courageous enough, or have had
the desire to stand in the lines at midnight. I
am sure one day when I have a family of my
own I might battle the craziness. I do usually
go to the mall in the afternoon, because we
don't have anything better to do. I got a couple
of fun shirts today that I am anxious to wear.

We also went to battle the crowds at the movie
theater. My mom, sister, Aunt Debbie,
Hillarie and I went to go see Breaking Dawn. I
know a lot of people liked the movie, but I thought
it was the worst one. I was laughing the whole time.
Well most the time. Some of it was pretty nasty.
I loved the books so much, but the movies are
not very impressing- mostly the acting. It's sad
because they could be so great. Anyways, If you
haven't seen it yet, my advice would to wait until
it was in the dollar theater.

Stuffed

It was so wonderful to be home for Thanksgiving.
I missed it last year because I stayed in Provo.
I missed being around my whole family. It's
hard to explain the feeling, but I guess you
could say it feels normal. I have been blessed
with such a wonderful extended family.
 On both sides.

We aren't a normal extended family.
We get together every Sunday for dinner,
and we have done this for as long as I can
remember. Thanksgiving with the family is
almost like another Sunday dinner- just
with more food and fancy dinner decorations.

The Lord has blessed me with so much.
I have a wonderful family, fantastic friends,
the opportunity to go to school, good health,
and the Gospel in my life.

Candy Cane

I typically don't like mint,
but I am absolutely addicted
to candy cane kisses.

If you have never had one, I
highly suggest that you do.
I could eat a whole bag in
one sitting. So yum!

Hooray! It is finally Thanksgiving
break! I am so excited to go home
 tomorrow. In celebration of a
break, there was a beautiful
sunset for us to enjoy.

It was even more amazing in
person!

Also in celebration, my aunt made
hawaiian haystacks. Ok, She didn't really make
them in celebration of the break, but it was
definitely a bonus! Especially because I love them
and I was craving them.

Dang It!

Aw, man! I was so close.
I was trying to  post a blog for
a week strait to accomplish one of my
year goals, but I messed up yesterday.
I am just  going to post twice today
 to make up for it.

A few things are on my mind today:

1) Is today over yet? It is going to be a really long and busy day.

2) Only one day and six hours until fall break!!

3) I can't wait to go home on Wednesday to see my family!

4) I hate having crushes. It's rather annoying.

5) I'm craving Hawaiian haystacks.

6) I really hate that it is so cold. Is it summer yet?

7) 23 more days until this semester is over!

Happy Feet Two

Some of you may know that Happy Feet
is one of my favorite movies.
This movie actually started my love for
penguins.

I was so excited that they were coming out
with a Happy Feet Two.
I was more exited about that then
the new Twilight movie.

Kayla is also a big penguin lover.
Last night we put on our penguin
shirts and went to see Happy Feet two.

It was a really cute movie, but the first
one is still my favorite.

Number Three

I can't believe this cute little boy is
going to be a big brother...

Yup, My sister-in-law is pregnant!
That means that I am going to
 be an aunt of three!!

I'm so excited for to meet this little baby.
He/she should make his/her appearance
in May!

Reaching Empty

I know when the semster is getting close to
the end, because I start to run out of gas.
As in the energy/ motivation type of gas.
Not the car gas.....
or the other type of gas...........

It is really frustrating because I want
to finish with all I have, but I just can't seem
to motivate myself to do anything.

 Hopefully the Thanksgiving break will
give me the little bit of boost that I need.

Only 5 more days until I
can see my family, eat yummy food,
and remember all that the Lord has
blessed me with. And let me tell you,
that is A LOT of stuff to remember.
I know I can't even come to comprehend
all that the Lord has blessed me with.
It just goes to show that He loves each and
everyone of us, and wants us to be happy.

A Bloggers Worst Nightmare

I lost all of my pictures that I have blogged-
And that is a lot. I had just a started using google
plus and I didn't want all my pictures from my blog on
there . So I deleted them. Little did I know  that it
would delete all my pictures on my blog. I guess I  should
have read the fine print telling me  it would do this.
I am a little frustrated, but the only  thing I do is go
through all the postings and repost the pictures. Some
probably wont get a picture because I can't remember what
they are all. This is going to take a long time. :/

It's not who you are that holds you back...

I find a lot of awesome quotes on Pinterest
that I really like. I might be posting quite a
few on my blog so I will always have them.
Hopefully they will help others who view my
blog as well.

It's Too Early!

And a Happy Thanksgiving to you
too, Target.

Do we not know how to celebrate Thanksgiving
anymore? I went to a couple places to look
at thanksgiving decorations and there
was nothing. Only Christmas stuff.
Christmas is great and all, but
I think its a little too early to put
up a Merry Christmas sign.
 Sheesh!

A Bit of Bad Luck

For fall break my parents flew me out
to Phoenix. It was such a fantastic
break and it was just what I needed. It
was so warm and relaxing. If only I didn't
have to study while I was there.

Getting back to Utah was a bit of a struggle though.
My flight was scheduled for Sunday evening,
and we figured the airport wouldn't be super busy.
WRONG! I got to the airpot too late to check my
bags in so I was going to have to take it as a carry on
which meant I would have to throw away my hair
products and stuff. I quickly walked to the security,
and it was seriously a mile long. I called my dad and I
told him I didn't think I was going to make it. The guy
standing in front of me said, "and I thought I was in bad
shape." The lady behind me told me " I would do
everything I could to get through security faster. Ask
people if you can cut in front of them" I was a little hesitant
at first because I felt bad for cutting. Finally I got the guts
and started asking people. About three or four people would
hear me and they would all move out of the way until
I asked the next group. Then a group of people would
move out of the way and that happened until I got
to the security. I asked a couple people if I could cut in
front of them and one guy said "yeah, I've been there
before." I was so grateful for all the people that willing
let me cut. Security took a little longer then I would have
liked because they had to check my hair stuff and throw
it away. After that, I ran down the hall to my flight, but
then I noticed I was going the wrong way. I stopped one
of those guys who drive the carts and people can ride on which
way was the right way. He told me to get on, and I told him
that I had to run. He said, "You think you can out run me?"
When we started going I though, "Ya I can run faster then you."
He dropped me off and I raced to my gate. My plane
was still there. I had a small bit of hope that I made it
on time, but I was wrong. The lady put me on standby
for another flight, and I watched my plane leave.
I was so unbelievably frustrated and tired from running that
I just wanted to cry. I sucked it up and went to my other
terminal and waited for about three hours. It started to
get really crowded and I started to get nervous. I
went and talked to the lady at the desk to see
what my chances were at getting on. She said it
wasn't good and if she started to ask for volunteers
to take another flight that I wouldn't get on. I waited
for about 10 min until she started to ask for
volunteers. I called my parents and they came
to pick me up. We scheduled another flight that left
at 6 in the morning. We learned our lesson and left
earlier to the airport. We pulled up and the check in line
for southwest was so long. I was thinking, " You
have got to be kidding me." The lady in front of me
said that this was better then the line inside.
Slowly the line started moving and I got my
bags checked in. I walked really fast to the security,
only to find the line really long. I started to panic.
"Great. I'm not going to make this flight either."
Thankfully the line moved really fast and I made
it just in time! I was so happy.

I slept the whole way home, and I probably looked
like an idiot because I would catch myself with my
mouth hanging wide open. hah!

I got off the plane and went to get my luggage.
I waited. And waited. And waited.
No bags.
SERIOUSLY?
I then remembered that plane was going the Denver,
and was probably taking my bags with them. I talked
to the lady at the desk and they said that my bags would
be at me house later that day.

After that I got in my car and drove strait to school.

It was an adventure to say the least. I was
really frustrated about the whole situation,
but I knew it would be a funny story later.
It's still not quite funny yet, but it
will get there.

"Things Will Work Out"

I love this.
I have been struggling with
school and wondering if I am
going to pass my classes or not.
I frequently get discouraged and
tell myself that I can't do this.
I need to remember that no matter
what happens it will be okay.

BL #12

Make a new friend

I haven't done one of my bucket list
items for a while, and I don't have much
time left! I have made a new friend
though! I have known her my whole
life, but we didn't really "know" each
other until recently.

I am talking about my cousin, Kayla!
She moved into Aunt Linda and
Uncle Lyle's house at the end of
summer. She just recently graduated
and is going to UVU.

It has been just a joy  getting to know
her. I don't think she knows how happy
I am that she is living here. I am the
type of person who doesn't call to see
what kind of fun activities are going
on or if someone just wanted to do
something. It was started to get a tad
bit lonely without Ally around for that
automatic friend and person to hang out with.
I am so glad Kayla came to my rescue.
She is so silly, fun and easy to talk to.
We have lots of fun together and laugh
at silly random things.

Thanks for being my friend, Kayla, and
for putting up with my craziness.
Love you!

Small note: I did erase some of my bucket list
items, because I didn't think I could finish them
all in time. Just incase you care :P

Fall Pictures

I have a little bit of catch up to do.
School hasn't given me much free time
to post what I have been up to.

My cousin, Kayla, and I decided that
we wanted to go take some pictures
of the fall leaves. We took a small
break from our studies and headed
up to Sundance.

We had fun looking for places
to take pictures and not doing
homework. :)

Pen Marks

This happens a lot...

By the end of the day, I usually have pen
marks all over my hand.

I feel like I am a little kid who should
not be trusted with a pen because
they will draw all over themselves.
I don't do it on purpose though. It
is truly a mystery how this happens.

The End Of Summer

Today felt like Summer was officially over.
Yesterday I wore a short sleeve shirt and
today I wore a long sleeve shirt and a Jacket.

(notice the long sleeves :(  )

I am dreading the winter as always.
Uhg!

Goodbye:
warmth
 shorts/capris
short sleeve shirts
 flip flop tan line
flip flops :(
 somewhat of a tan
 fresh fruit
beautiful flowers.

Busy As A Bee

I have been awful at blogging lately, but this
semester is the busiest semester I have ever had.
I can't wait until this semester is over. I have been
counting down the days ever since it started!

This past weekend my cousin, Lydia, came
to spend some time with me. I would like
to think she had fun even though I did
homework half the time. My uncle came down
and took us to the BYU game. It was so much
fun! The end of the game was intense, but it
had a happy ending!

We also watched movies, made suckers,
did our nails, and watched conference.

Thanks for coming down and spending
the weekend with me Lydia! I had fun,
and I definitely needed it!

Bad Plant Mom

For one of my goals on year bucket list
I said that I wanted to grow a plant
and keep it alive. Well.... I failed.
Again.

Things were really going great for a while
and it started to get really big.

And then it started to die one stem at
a time. All I wanted was one flower.
Just ONE!

I'm such a bad plant mom.

The Big Island

Hawaii was so much fun!
Warning: I might get picture happy

We left Wednesday at 6:00 am.
Hillarie and I were tired in the beginning.
We tossed and turned all night long.
By 4:00 we were more then ready to
get up. I couldn't sleep on the plane
either. I must have been more excited
then I realized :)

Ready to go!

Last couple hours on the flight

Finally in Hawaii!!... But so exhausted

Once we arrived, we got our rental car and
headed to the condo. My mom mentioned
that a friend of ours said the Lava rock
reminded her of a big brownie. I never got
a good picture of it, but I often craved
brownies when we were driving around.

The view from our Condo

During our vacation we did lots of fun
things. Of course we went to the beach
a lot. We found a perfect beach that we
absolutely loved. A local told us about it
and we went there 3 times. The very first time
we went was my favorite. For some reason it was
more fun then any of the other times we went.
They were all fun, but that one was my favorite.

We boogie boarded a lot

Got taken down by the waves
(It was especially funny when Hill
did. True friendship)

Watched the cute boys boogie board

Played in the sand

And a lot more...

We also went to a Luau.
That was a lot of fun as well.
It was at a hotel that wasn't too
far from where we were staying.

We also went to another hotel that had
dolphins. We thought it was a show, but
it was the type of deal where you can get
in the water and interact with them.
It was still fun to watch them though.

They put sunscreen on the top of his head.

We didn't only see trained dolphins.
We saw wild ones too when we were
at the beach. It was so fun to watch
them play and jump up in the air
and spin. They were really far away so
we used the camera and the binoculars
to zoom in on them.

We also saw sea turtles. My mom
was really excited about this. She
has always wanted to see one.

I even touched one! I probably wasn't
suppose to but he was so close to us
that I couldn't help myself.

We went snorkeling at the beach right
across from the condo.

I had a friend, or two, stand on my foot

One day we went to Hilo- Which is the
other side of the island. It was really
pretty, but not very fun. We tried to find
some waterfalls or anything cool, but
they weren't that amazing. We really
wanted to go to the volcano, but they
said it wasn't flowing.

We really liked to eat at a place called
Huggos(hug-os). Our waitress said we
needed to come back to watch the
Lava Girls. We were so interested to know
what the Lava Girls were, we went back to
find out.

They were a girl bad...or women band.
I think they were in there late 30's.

The band itself wasn't all that entertaining,
but it was the drunk dancers that made
it extremely entertaining. There was this
older man that had some pretty awesome
moves- or so he thought. At one point a
lady joined him, and they danced together.
Everyone in the restaurant was watching and
giggling.

I hope this video works

Every night we tried to watch the sunset
go down. I think we only missed one.
Sometimes we would walk to the beach
across our condo, other times we
watched it from the condo, Humpys
(another favorite food place), and a
"our" look out spot.

I told you I might get picture happy.
Here is more....

I can't wait to go back.
Hopefully sometime soon!
