Spring Break 2012

This semester has been crazy busy, so I was ready for a
break! I decided to go visit my good friend BreeAnn in Saint
George for a couple of days. I headed out Friday after I got
done with class. That night we went out to eat, walked around
the temple, and then met up with her boyfriend. We decided
to baked cookies and played games.

Beautiful Saint George temple

 Here for the recipe

On Saturday we woke up, and Bree MADE me work out.
How rude, right? ;) I really needed it actually, and it
 was a beautiful day.

It's spring there!

After our walk/run, we got ready and met up with McCoy
and his family for lunch. We decided that we wanted to go
see a movie after lunch. It took us forever to decide what to
see, but we finally settled on the Lorax. It was such a cute
 movie! I really liked it.

McCoy talked us into getting this huge tub of popcorn
for the three of us! Not to mention the deal came with two
huge drinks and a candy. It was for a good price though :)
Totally worth it even though we couldn't finish it all.

Once the movie was over, Bree, McCoy, and I decided to
go to a trampoline place. It was fun for about 20 minutes,
and then we were exhausted! It's a workout!

 Bree showed us her tricks

Playing crack the egg, and McCoy jumping.

Worn out!

Enjoy some videos

This one you might want to fast forward 25 seconds.

The next day was sunday, and we woke up 10 minutes
before church started. Oops. We at least made it to the
last 15 minutes of sacrament meeting. After church we
took a nice nap since we stayed up late, and lost an hour
of sleep. After our nap, we packed up a lunch and went
to Dixie rock for a picnic. It was a great view of Saint George.

Afterwards, we headed back to the apartment to
relax and start cooking dinner.

Bree likes to sleep on the washer and
dryer ;) JK!

When we got done eating dinner and cleaning up,
we went over to McCoy's family's house to play
card games. We had a blast and laughed a lot!

The next day I packed up my car and headed to New
Mexico. It's always nice to go home and spend time
with your family. I didn't do anything super exciting,
which  was fine by me. I just enjoyed being home, and
relaxing  (with a little bit of homework). I didn't take
a lot of pictures at home, but I took a couple.

How I like to shop

Gav-man eating a lemon. So funny!

I watched Gavin a couple of times before they went
out of town. He wasn't too sure about me when I would
go over. I knew he didn't really remember me, and it broke
my heart a little. He is getting so big!

Spring break was just what I needed. I am not looking
forward to going back to school on monday though.
Only 6 more weeks to go!

Have a picnic

When I went to visit my friend BreeAnn for spring
break, we decided to have a picnic! It was perfect for
my year bucket list. We went up to Dixie rock, which
was a perfect view of Saint George, and had sandwiches,
chips, and other goodies. We talked, laughed,  watched
people repel down the rock, and enjoyed the weather.

Shoot a Gun.

A couple of weekends ago my friend, Katie, had her
friend take us shooting. The last time I went shooting
was when I was in Young Woman's--That was a long time
ago. I'm not exactly sure were we went, but it was on the
other side of Provo lake.  Most of the time I didn't know
what I was shooting. They probably told me, but I wasn't
paying attention. We were there for a couple hours, but
got kicked off because we were on private property.
oops. I had a nice time, made some new friends, and
got another bucket list item done! Woohoo!

They gave me this gun so I could actually hit one of the targets.

Sara- Half A Foot Shorter

As some of you may know my sister got in a accident
a few weeks ago. Her foot was severely damaged,
and they had to amputate half of her foot. She
has been so amazing and strong. It blows my mind.
I don't think I could have handled it as well as she
has. The week that it happened was really hard
for me because I was so far away. School had just
started, and all I wanted was to be at home with
my family. I was lucky enough that it was a four
day weekend, and I went home to see my family.
I was so grateful that I could go home. I spent
a lot of time in the hospital just hanging out with
my sister. Of course it was bad weather the day I
wanted to go back, so I had to cut my trip a
little short and go home the day before. Even
though it was a short trip it was worth it!

I love you, Sister!

New Years 2011

I had a wonderful New Years eve!
Probably the best in a really long time.
(not that the others were bad)

My day started out by getting my hair done
by my talented sister (with some help by
my awesome mom). My nephew came over
for a hair cut too.

After we got our hair done, all of us
hung out for a few hours and enjoyed
each others company. My dad was flying
his helicopter, and Gavin loved it! It was
so fun to watch him.

Gavin also gave me some kisses.

Later that night I had a few friends
over to bring in the new year. We played
Kinect most of the night with a few breaks
here and there. We laughed ALL night long.
If I could sum up how many hours each of us
laughed it would probably end up around 2
solid hours, and a good 3o minutes of that
was laughed at me trying to play Wipe Out.
It was some much needed fun for me.

[HIllarie with her serious tennis moves]
 [Carson and Jacob]
[Tennis]
[Hill making us some drinks(non-alcoholic of course)]
 [Cheers]
 [Being Crazy]
[Pretty much sums up our night]
[The after effects--exhaustion and headaches]

I'm hoping 2012 will bring lots of fun
adventures and wonderful surprises!
